Tunnel Grenzallee (TGR) and Tunnel Ostkreuz (TOK)
Eastern section of A100, Berlin
Concept study for the extension of the Berlin urban motorway ring.
This section describes a quarter of a circle into the south-eastern part of the inner city. The route planning for a 6 lane motorway in this area is very complex as the whole route features 3 large bridges, 6 junctions and two tunnels (one of them as a two-storeyed tunnel).
VIA developed the TMS concept for this study. The first part is currently in the stage of detailed planning.
