Renewal and expansion of a Traffic management system (TMS) on the A100 and A115 motorway in Berlin.
With a volume of 180.000 vehicles per day, this section of the Berlin urban motorway ring features the highest traffic loads in Germany.
The new TMS replaces one of the first TMS systems in Germany. Equipped with LED signals, radar traffic data capture, variable message signs and a new control computer, it supports the current common standard of Berlin.
This inner-city TMS, like all other TMS in Berlin, is characterized by a high density of junctions and difficult installation requirements due to complicated structural framework conditions.
