Hamburg's motorway junction Volkspark is an important access to the stadium and the Colour Line Arena. At the same time, the motorway A7 is the most important feeder into the city center of Hamburg in this section as well as an important north-south connection in Germany.
In order to manage this massive multi-directional traffic situation, two new variable display units (dWiSta) will be erected in the area of Hamburg's junctions Stellingen and Bahrenfeld.
