Traffic Management System on the main access to the new international airport of Berlin, the A113 motorway. It will be connected to the TMS of the TOB-Tunnel (A100) in order to enable the interplay of traffic data. The system features variable message signs (VMS) and includes 2 tunnels, 6 junctions, as well as a motorway interchange with the A100. The two tunnels are equipped with lane signals, barriers and stop signals in accordance to the latest german safety standards. Outside the tunnels, there are variable message signs, weather stations and dynamic signposts for deviations in case of tunnel closures.
